The Reason Why Kingdom Is Great and Different From Any Popular Manga

     The first time I heard about Kingdom was exactly 3 years ago, at that time I just felt this manga was bad just because I didn't like the art, because the characters looked so weird and I thought historical war manga would be boring, with each chapter just going to be full of characters with the same face. But over time, this manga is getting more attention and popularity. Surprisingly, at the end of 2019 Kingdom sales jumped to 3rd position, which made me wonder what made this manga so famous. Then I tried to read the first chapter of this manga because I was very curious about the story and what made it great. At the beginning of the first chapter, I felt that the two protagonists in this manga are ordinary because they are similar to other shonen characters who compete with each other to achieve their dreams, such as Asta and Yuno from Black Clove r, but the last part of the first chapter surprised me, I didn't expect that such an event would happen so qu...

Baki, An Exaggerated Story about Human Strength and Martial Arts

       A man who climbs walls tens of meters without any equipment, a man who can hold his breath and swim underwater for a long time, a man who can punch the Statue of Liberty to a crack, a man who can kill a human with just his breath, this is what you got when you first watch the Baki series in Netflix. Baki itself follows the story of a young boy, named Baki Hanma who wants to beat his father which none other than Yujiro Hanma, the strongest creature in the world. At first, Baki as the main protagonist looks similar to many protagonists from a manga with this genre, a boy who wants to get stronger, beat every his opponent, and become the king of combat. Meanwhile, most of the characters are look really similar, big, muscular,  with unfathomable strength, and very few female characters. Until this point, it seems that nothing is special from this series, but the way Keisuke Itagaki describes his characters with unpredictable fight scenes makes this manga diff...
